Big Time!
You guys know by know that I love to collaborate. I really enjoy teaming up with other artists and producers because each experience is different. I find that working with others challenges you as a performer, writer and all round musician.
When Rogue FX asked me if i’d like to jump on this track it was a no brainer for me! The synth pop electronic song had a flavour that reminded me of something that Pet Shop Boys or The Human League would have dropped back in the day.
Big Time is about a couple struggling to keep it together. The female character has suddenly got some notoriety and has become a big deal in her career, now a bit of a star her man is having a hard time dealing with the changes they are going through. They simply want to fix the situation before they officially lose what they built! I love a song with a good story!
Working with Andrew on this was so much fun. It’s not often that i’m working on a track I haven’t done any writing on but, that in itself is a whole other challenge. How can I perform in a way that compliments the sound and vocals of my co-collaborator and do something different to my signature sound? I hope you like the track as much as we do.
It just launched on all streaming platforms and, there’s a cool video too!
