Lazer Club – Criminal Nights

Modern Synth pop at it’s finest!

The trio from Italy have not disappointed with this album! Think of a modern day story set in the mid 1980s about a young guy who touches down in Miami as he goes through the challenges of dating a rebellious and difficult girl, whilst navigating through the criminal underworld! Lazer Club have delivered us a movie in musical form!

Imagine driving down the sun drenched streets of Miami in a sexy Lamborghini as you have hot music pumping. This is the visual you get when listening to this album from the very start with the intro for the album setting the stage for an epic journey of music followed by 11 more tracks.

I have to say, what I love about Criminal Nights is the fun and free vibe it has. There are songs to chill out with, dance to and some more emotional moments featured. Hats off to the guys for the flawless production and performances both instrumentally and vocally.

September is a special song for me as I was lucky enough to write and perform it with the guys. Samuele and I sing about a couple who called time on their relationship in the previous September. The characters still have a deep love for each other but, many things were left unsaid between them with both wanting to relight the fire that once burned between them.

My personal favourites are of course September in addition to, Cocktails, Sarah, Back To the City and Criminal Love.

If you’re looking for a hot album laced with nostalgia to round out the year featuring glittering guitars, crystalline melodies over gorgeous synths, pumping drums, sexy sax solos and epic vocals this is an album you will love!
